Myths & Misconceptions
The healthiest vegetables are always green. Greens are undoubtedly healthy, but vegetables and fruits in other colors—red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple—all bring different nutrients to the table. You’ll get the most antioxidants, vitamins and minerals if you keep your plate colorful.

Start the day with a glass of water. Drink another before you work out. You should be thirsty after your workout, so have two more glasses. Have another before lunch, then one at lunch. It’s only midday and you’ve already had six glasses of water!

Buy a water filter for your home. Filtering makes your water safer and better tasting--and it's cheaper than bottled water.

Carry a bottle of water with you at all times. You don’t have to buy bottled water to do this; just use a refillable sports bottle.

Any time you see a water fountain, stop and take a few sips. Every little bit helps!
